Herons Bend Productions provides services for research and writing on any subject including articles, books, reports, studies and curriculum. Presentations to the public on local history. Teachers’ workshops on using primary materials in the classroom, learning from documents and photographs, how to use maps and creating local history curriculum and activities are also provided.

Curriculum development: Partner in online curriculum development on Erie Canal for Corn Hill Waterfront & Navigation Foundation with Genesee Community Charter School, Town of Brighton and Rochester City School District.
Script Captains’ one hundred page historical guide script for Sam Patch and Mary Jemison Erie Canal and Genesee River tour boats for Corn Hill Navigation Foundation.
Edited Rochester History quarterly for 26 years, wrote many of the issues. Assisted as consultant in numerous books, films and videos.
